Version 2.8.0 – April 2022 Release

  • New & Improved:
    • When sharing documents, if the 'Copy To' checkbox is selected, the email addresses listed under My Employees> Setting populates (rather than the account holder's email).
    • The same types of Other Costs are now combined into one line, in the subtotals of Purchase Orders.
    • When a new user account is created, they are automatically made an admin and have all permissions checked (true for all 3 account types), when a new user is added to an existing account, they have no permissions by default and the admin has to set them individually. 
    • Client address type when making custom report is now dropdown instead of a string.
    • The description is no longer available on the item side mark.
    • When cash order is left blank in Company>Codes, Money Out>Order payments account is also blank. The payment tab on orders also shows a blank account when nothing is set in Codes
    • Documents can now be attached to all items in an Order –> you can upload documents to an Order with multiple items.
    • A warning message appears and lets the user know that a deleted action cannot be undone.
    • When forms are shared with another user, they show up in the account.
    • Users cannot delete a report that is owned by another employee.
    • Variance analysis percentage is now included in the 'Income Statement History' report.
    • ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival) is a new code in the Item Codes tab.
    • Income Statement now has subaccount subtotals.
    • Batch-add items to existing Invoices & Orders.
    • File dialogue now has a list view.
    • Descriptions are now easy to read in the Document field.
    • Users can now bulk copy items without the project room names being the same.
    • Activities and schedules now show up on the calendar. 
    • Users can now batch-delete items.
    • Item list view now has item numbers in the same font size.
    • Users can now create invoices from the Items screen when the View is set to "Dates".
    • Item Link Description can now be linked within Activities.
    • Users can now Bulk Update Items to Presented.
    • Automatically date update on reoccurring Money Out Transaction after posting.
    • Items screen now has an item delivered filter.
    • Users can now change the layout of the report when printing from the reconciliation screen.
    • Users now have the ability to change the dates on checks printed.
    • When in the Proposal/Order/Invoice, the user clicks on the name under the To: field, he is redirected to the client or vendor address ID screen and is aware that changing this changes the name of the contact in the entire system.
    • Clients without client deposits can be filtered out in reports.
    • Unit of measures default can be set.
    • Users can toggle to enable/disable the maintenance and translation page per account.
    • Financials report periods now display in Months (Jan – Dec).
    • New "Include Related Projects" filter for 01 Client Profit Report can be utilized to determine whether to calculate profit based on a single or multiple projects under the same client. 
    • Ability to search for products field on vendor screen.
    • A newly created Unit of measure with no records attached to it can be deleted.
    • When in the Activity edit screen, there is the Next button if the activity is first, and the previous button if the activity is not first. Both are functional and this works as intended for all column orders and filters.
    • Margin-left is added when opening an Employees List from the Overview.
    • There is now a space between the clone icon and the word Clone.
    • Ability to enter and modify Invoice Emailed Date. The user gets the correct date in the History tab while updating Emailed Date on the Invoices List.
    • Employees are unable to remove items that trigger a void action on a document without permission.
    • When a discount is taken the amount is entered into the purchase side, and the item is cloned, the discount is also cloned. When a vendor with a discount is chosen and the item is cloned, the discount remains for the item.
    • Standard format Date is now standard (MM/DD/YYYY) on all date filters.
  • Bug Fixes:
    • Basic users do not have access to view calendars.
    • Users can now use priority dropdown options in item reports for is blank or is not blank.
    • Users can now scroll through the dropdown in money out > office payment.
    • Signup / Icon misalignment in the fields was fixed.
    • Item links on projects/activities are visible when the activity is added to a cloned item.
    • 'Ship Via' columns on items reports show data like (name and ship via method) instead of numbers.
    • The "Add to Design Project" feature on My Products now copies over to the vendor description.
    • Copy purchase 'Zero' option now works properly.
    • After logging in and opening Time Billing and Activities, the Employee filter now defaults to the current user.
    • Users without permission cannot generate proposals/orders/invoices.
    • When an account is made inactive, it will no longer appear on the bank import screen.
    • When a client is given access to pay via PayRoc, if Payroc is removed from company settings, the Pay Now link will no longer appear.
    • 1010 01 RFQ missing Header & Footer Defaults from My Company>report defaults is fixed.
    • When entering information into the system for employee profile, the required fields are highlighted, and the user cannot save without them
    • The due colors now populate consistent colors that have value. When an item is invoiced, the amount due should display the total deposit required on the purchased side, minus the amount paid on the order. The Purchase Amount Due displays the vendor total balance or the vendor deposit balance.
    • Also, if there is a vendor deposit balance, then the symbol “(d)” will appear beside the Purchase Amount Due. When hovering over the symbol, it should say, “DEPOSIT DUE”.
    • The user gets a message to save the item before going to the attachments screen, the images/attachments can now be saved.
    • A user without access to my company> adds/remove employees wouldn’t be able to do so through the time billing screen.
    • Update rates are now visible on the time billing list.
    • Users are not allowed to remove other cost types using the red X.
    • When an employee has all settings except the ‘employee permissions’ accounting tab is visible, and the track time/activity is not visible.
    • When a product is added to an item, then the Sales Code is now associated with the Product’s Sales Code.
    • Add page number now stays on the saved report.
    • When entering or updating uninvoiced time billing entries, any change in quantity, client rate, or employee rate should now trigger a recalculation of totals.
    • Randomly appearing estimated ship date fixed.
    • When applying a filter on a custom report or form, the system now generates a preview with filters.
    • Users now require Ship to Address to send a PO.
    • Settings: Copy-Item Description to Vendor Description field now works properly.
    • The issue with the security token on the first login now works as expected.
    • When an entry is cloned in Misc. Addresses and the type is changed to Vendor, then the Payments tab disappears, and Vendor Codes expand.
    • Users can now create new time rate entries when validation rules are met.
    • Error for long description entered on proposal page fixed.
    • New Item's Image saving preferences are now stored properly.
    • When quantity is 0, the unit price shows the proper unit price on the proposal and in the client portal.
    • Uploaded or changed images can now be saved to the Inventory.
    • Images are now visible within Inventory entries and on their uploading page. 
    • Special case name blocking the designer from sharing documents is fixed.
    • Section Tab is displayed correctly for the Time Rates tab.
    • The "Per Page" dropdown field in Item, Clients, Vendors, and any other page will stop showing search enabled results.
    • The messages field now has a limit in Settings.
    • A warning message shows up when the name is too long, and the record is not saved. Shortening the name will remove the error and then the name can be saved.
    • Item side mark populates properly.

Version 2.12 – April 2022 Release

  • New & Improved: 
    • When a proposal is rejected, it is now placed at the end of the list. 
    • When a payment is completed the user is now given the option to start a new transaction.
    • When resetting a password, the user will now receive an email with instructions to reset the password if an account exists for the email address.
    • When resetting a password, the current password now remains valid until the new password is saved.
    • When a request is made for a password reset, the system will resend the existing reset code if it has not yet expired.
    • A user is now able to momentarily reveal the password being typing in while logging in.
    • The client is now allowed to make payments on an unapproved proposal.
    • The client is now able to view the payment history through the One-Time Payment Links for both proposals and invoices. 
    • Upon making a payment for a proposal or invoice inside client portal through a saved payment method, the user is now able to make another payment without refreshing.
    • When the user clicks on the Export button, the system now generates and auto-downloads both CSV formatted and Excel formatted tables. 
  • Bug Fixes:
    • ACH Payroc now loads more quickly. 
    • The wording was changed on the Payroc ACH Pay Now form to reflect Account Holder Name.
    • When a proposal is invoiced, there is no longer an approve/reject button on the proposal.
    • An article is available to instruct designers on how to configure settings to ensure the correct payment option will appear on the Client Portal.
