      How to: Different Selling and Purchase Costs

      Is Studio Designer auto-populating Selling Cost with your Purchase Cost? Here's how to fix that!

      A very common situation that users find themselves in is one where Studio Designer auto-updates the Selling Cost of the item with the information provided in the Purchase Cost. While this is ideal for some designers, it is not ideal for all. Fortunately, there is a very easy solution to this error. Just follow the steps below. 

      Step 1. Open the item that you want to edit.


      Step 2. Click CODES at the top of the window. 


      Step 3. Change the Copy Purchase Code to "Never"


      Following these steps should now allow you to fill in a custom amount for our Selling Cost completely regardless of what has been entered in the Purchase Cost.
