How Do I Apply a Client Item Credit to Another Item?

The first step is ensuring that you have created a credit item. Click here to learn more.

Step 1. Click on Accounting> Money In and select the Payment Method  "Apply To  Items  From To  Funds Available"

Step 2. Filter for proposal or invoice that contains that credit. Ensure the amount you apply is a negative amount (e.g. -200)

Step 3. Click "Post Payment".



Once you click yes on the pop-up window, you can see that in Funds Available there is now a credited amount.
