How Do I Set the Client Deposit to an Amount Instead of a Percentage?

This article will help walk you through how to use a deposit amount rather than a deposit percentage.

In some cases, it might make more sense to use a specific amount for a deposit rather than a percentage amount. This could be for a one-off item or you could apply this method to every item.

Step 1. Open the item that you need to set the deposit amount for by clicking Project>Items from the left-hand menu.


Step 2. Click the Edit button on the item and enter in "0.00" in the deposit percentage field.

Step 3. Enter the dollar amount you would like to have as the deposit amount.
