How to Accept Payment When Not Using the Client Portal

The help article will walk you through applying the correct settings to enable your client to pay via their proposal or invoice rather than the Client Portal.

The following steps will outline what is necessary for the Pay Now link to appear.

Step 1. Click on Projects>Addresses and locate the Address ID for the project. Open the address and click on the Codes tab. Ensure that in the client's address, the payment checkboxes are checked for Stripe, Payroc (Payscape), or Paypal.

Step 2. When you are ready to send the invoice or proposal, hit "Send to Client", then select the "Email a PDF" option. On the "PDF" page, make sure that "Attach a copy of the PDF to the notification" is checked. This will bypass the Client Portal and make the Pay Now link appear on the invoice or proposal.
