      What are Products and how can I use them.

      Introduction to Products

           Products can be thought of as a catalog of details about items that you sell frequently.  Think of it like creating a shell of an item.  This can be used to speed up the creation of a new item to purchase for clients or projects.

      This catalog can provide several advantages:

      • Store frequently purchased item details and use the information to create new Items, saving you time re-entering item details.  Click HERE for more details.
      • Serve as a template for certain item categories such as Fabric, saving you time entering item details and description text.  Click HERE for more details.

       

      Note: Do not confuse Inventory and Products.

      Inventory is used when you have a physical piece available for sale.

      Products refers to a type of catalog of items that you can keep in Studio Designer that you frequently sell, but do not own.
