Why can't I see PDF previews?

If you're getting a long file name in the place of a PDF preview when generating a report or document (see below), your browser settings may not be configured correctly. To fix this, please follow these steps.

Tip: Studio Designer's preferred browser for optimal experience is Google Chrome.

To resolve:

1. Paste the following body of text into your Chrome address bar and hit enter to launch the appropriate Settings menu:

chrome://settings/content/pdfDocuments

2. This should open the below menu. Make sure that Open PDFs in Chrome is enabled:

3. Relaunch the document you were trying to view; it should now display as intended.
