This help article will walk you through setting up your Room Lists. This section serves as a database for all the room lists in your account. This database acts as a way to specify what type or which property certain rooms are assigned to.
To access this section, do the following:
Step 1: Go to Settings and scroll down to the Items/Products section.
Step 2: Next click on Room List.
Step 3: This will lead you to the Room List page.
Once you are on the Room List page, you will notice that Studio Designer already comes with some preset Room Lists:
Residential and Commercial
If you would like to add a new room list, do the following:
Step 1: Click on + New Room List towards the upper right-hand corner of the page.
Step 2: On the New Room List page, input the name of the room list. To ensure that this new room list appears in the system, make sure to check the Active box.
Step 3: Once everything is set click on Save or Save & New.
Step 4: When you go back to the Room List page, your newly added room list will appear.
Another thing to keep in mind is that Room List directly correlates with the drop-down menu found in the Item tab of any given Item.
Below are some suggestions for useful reports pertaining to Rooms and Room Lists:
- 01 Rooms: Displays a list of rooms, room lists, descriptions, and sidemarks.
- 14 Schedule By Room With Purchase Price: Displays specifications including item number, room, vendor, unit price, and total price.
- 2010 01 PW By Room Detail: A large-format overview of a project with Order #, Invoice #, Vendor and Client payments and balances; totaled by Room.
You can filter your data by room, client (where applicable), item number, component, etc.
