Setting Up Stripe Account

If you do not yet have a Stripe account set up, follow the step-by-step guide below to begin accepting ACH payments through Stripe.

Step 1
Start by navigating to Settings>My Company and click the blue "Create Your Account to Receive Stripe Payments" button.

Step 2
The next screen will prompt you to enter your email address. Click "Next" when done.

Step 3
Next, create a password for your account. Click "Log In" when done.

Step 4
Next, you will be prompted to enter your mobile number. This is so Stripe can send you a 6-digit verification code and make sure your payment account details have an extra layer of protection. Click "Send Text" once you have entered your mobile number.

Step 5
Once you receive the text on the device associated with the mobile number entered in the previous step, enter the provided 6-digit code into the window displayed below.

Step 6
Check your email for a message from Stripe, which will serve as a secondary verification layer for your account, and follow the contained directions. Once this step is complete, you will have access to your Stripe account and can begin to enter your business details.

Important Note: At the moment we can only charge clients in USD. Even if your Stripe account is set up with another currency, any payment made through Studio Designer Client Portal, or invoice/proposal Pay Now links will charge the amount in USD.

We are working on updating our integration to allow for additional currencies.

Step 7
Navigating back to your My Company Page, you will see that your account is under review. By clicking the blue "Review Connected Stripe Account" button, you can begin to input your company details. Please be advised that this step is mandatory in order to complete the activation of your Stripe account. Without it, Stripe will not be usable.

Step 8 (finalizing ACH setup within Stripe)

Make sure you're logged in to your Stripe Dashboard; then, click here.

Before ACH can be used by your clients, you must click the blue "Enable ACH" button that will appear once you click "sign into" from within your Stripe dashboard. This step only needs to be completed once by someone with Stripe dashboard access.
