You might have noticed that your address screens might look a little different. Here is what's new and different:
Skip To:
Client Address Screen
Vendor Address Screen
Contact Address Screen
Misc. Address Screen
Addresses are now broken up into 3 main categories.
Within the Clients, Vendors, and Contacts pages, you will notice a slightly different layout.
Client Address Screen
At the top, you still have the Codes tab to set client-specific settings and the People tab is where you can add contacts associated with the Address ID. Here you can further categorize the address by type by selecting either Client or Project. The information is broken into 3 sections: Address, Mailing Address, and Contact Details. You also port over the address information to the mailing address by checking the "Use this address for mailing address box", formerly "Copy Address" box.
Vendor Address Screen
The Vendor Address Screen looks very similar to the Client Address Screen. Here you can further categorize the address by type by selecting a Vendor, Showroom, or Manufacturer. The information is also broken into 3 sections: Address, Mailing Address, and Contact. This gives you a snapshot of everything you need to know at a glance.
Note: Vendor credential fields are now integrated into the new vendor list. These can now be hidden or set to visible.
Contacts Address Screen
We also added a dedicated Contacts tab. The screen layout may look familiar to you. The Address ID is the address the contact is related to. Use the checkboxes to indicate the types of documents this contact should receive and which email address should be used.
Misc. Addresses.
If you would prefer to view all of your addresses in one place, we have the Misc. Addresses Screen. Here you can use the filters in the toolbar at the top to sort by a particular type, name, active status, or by address, or by amounts related to funds, deposits, and payment.
